Spring Wardobe Change

Hello everybody:) Today i am writing a post about my wardrobe swap around . Every 6 months or so i change my wardrobe around. Last night i changed all the clothes in there from winter to spring clothing. I took some pictures and today i am writing a post about it. I keep all of my clothes that are not hanging up in boxes and i am going to give you some tips and tell you how to change your wardrobe from winter to spring. The past week it has been getting a little warmer and sunnier  so i thought it would be a good idea to change my wardrobe around:)

Here is my wardrobe before the change. As you can see i have a lot of darker colours and some creams and white jumpers too. Now i am going to give you some tips on how you can do the same.

  • Pull out all of the items you no longer want in your wardrobe for spring or if your changing your wardrobe from spring to winter simply pull out all of the spring clothing and separate them from the rest of your clothes.
  • I already  have all of my spring items in boxes as the bottom of my wardrobe. You may have them in a bag or under your bed. Where ever they are bring them out. Separate them into three piles. One pile to go into your wardrobe, another to be put into draws and the last on spring clothes that will not fit you or you don't want anymore.

  •  When your boxes are empty because all of your spring clothing is sorted into three different piles you can begin to actually put the winter clothing into boxes. This can be difficult as most winter items are very thick and take up a lot of room.
  • This is an optional step. But i have actually lined the bottom of my wardrobe. I did this because it looks so much more colourful. I just used wrapping paper. But i did already have some wallpaper lining it and that's very thick. So i just put the wrapping paper on top of that.

 Top Tips
  • If you don't have enough space for boxes you can use a vacuum bag. They are huge bags and once you fill it with air it get so much smaller. These are great for putting big jumpers in.
  • As your doing this it is quite a good idea to make a list of items you need. For example i noticed that i didn't have many spring/summer tops but i had plenty of shorts and skirts.
  • Don't completely swap from winter to spring. I know many people who completely change their wardrobe and put everything wintery away. I have kept out a thin jumper and a couple of thick cardigans and hoodies. This is just incase a cold day comes around i don't want to be getting out the boxes just to find a jumper or a thick cardigan.
I hope you have liked reading about my wardrobe change:)
Sorry about the poor quality of pictures i changed my wardrobe around
quite late last night so the lighting was not great!
Hope you have a great rest of the weekend
and enjoy the bank holiday.
