October 2013 Favourites

Its monthly favourites time again, and this time its the turn of October. Where has this month gone? I know everyone says this every month, but really, this month has whizzed by! And while its been whizzing by i have been using some products that i have really loved and want to share with you all now :)

All of the products i have been loving using this month.

  • Twisted Sista Curl Crème - Everyone knows how obsessed i was with noodle head crème for my hair, but they discontinued it. I used the John Freida Frizz Ease for a while, but when i came to repurchase it the price was £6, and i didn't want to pay that much. This one is £1 and i adore it, it works so well and smells gorgeous! I am hoping to review the whole range soon.
  • Nivea Cleansing Lotion - I finished up my Simple Cleanser up this month and had this one to use and i really love it! Its much more liquidy than the simple one, which i honestly prefer. I find this is perfect for my skin, it never feels tight or rough after using it too.
  • Bastiste Dry Shampoo - I heard about this product a very long time ago, im sure you have all heard of it too. Its a dry shampoo and you spray it onto your hair for an instant refresh and it looks like you have just washed it, brilliant! I cant brush my hair as the curls will go all frizzy, so i have to spray this further away from my head to avoid the spray coming out grey on my head, but it is a brilliant product!

  • Claires Bronzing Powder - I got this a while ago and have been using it loads! The lighter side is perfect for just bronzing and the darker shade is great for contorting and blending out. I really like this and have been using it daily, the colours are perfect and i love the design on the product too, very cool :)
  • Stila Eyeshadow - I cannot remember the name of this, but its gorgeous! I brought it in a set at TK Maxx and have loved using it ever since. It looks quite bright, but its actually very natural and quite a nude shade. I have been wearing it loads and can't wait to try more stila products!
  • Collection Lasting Colour Lipstick - I am certainly not a lipstick girl, but look how gorgeous this colour is! I brought it specifically for my Halloween party with my friends, but i actually really like it! Its very vibrant and actually suits my skin colour, i was worried it would wash me out, i spoke about it a bit more with a swatch in my lipstick post here.
  • The Body Shop Eye Definer - I have about 6 of these all together and i love them. They are essentially an eye pencil but i love it. It stays on your waterline for about 6 hours and i use it to lightly fill in my lower lash line, i love it so much.

I have decided against doing an empties video this month.
I didn't really use up a lot to warrant doing a video. Sorry x

Lots of Love,
