DIY - Cardboard Flowers

I haven't done a DIY post in what seems like forever, so i am going to do one now.
I found this craft idea while scrolling through my boards on pintrest and i couldn't wait to do it and share it with you all.

What You Need-
  • Cardboard Tube
  • Scissors
  • Stapler

Begin by folding the tube over not so it is flat completely, just like it is in the photo above.
Then , using the scissors, cut out strips of however big you like, the bigger they are the easier, but you want to get at least five strips.

Then once you have all the strips you need then lay them out. If the strips are a little flat you can use your fingers to bend them out a little.
These strips will be the petals for the flower.

Next, place the cardboard strips in the shape of a flower. If you find you want more you can repeat the steps so you have more petals for the flowers, i think five or six works well. Obviously though it depends on the size you want.
If you want to decorate them now is the time to do it.

Then, using the stapler staple two cardboard strips together. The closer to the end where they join the better. Then add petals to the ones you have just stapled and staple them all until they are in the flower pattern. I didn't decorate mine but they would look lovely painted or with some tissue paper.

Lots of Love,
Lydia
