The Edit | Highlighting & Contouring Collection

I'm obsessed. Absolutely obsessed. Highlighters, bronzers, contour i'm obsessed. There's something about it and i don't know what but i feel the need to try everything and use it all. Today i wanted to talk about my collection, slightly excessive i know and all about the different types, formulas and brushes i use, where it goes and how i do it.

First up liquid and cream highlighters.
Not the easiest, in my opinion, to apply but have an excellent finish that is easily buildable.
My favourite liquid highlighters are the revlon photo ready skinlights, available in about 3/4 different shades and the soap and glory hocus focus.
I apply these using my angled highlighter brush as it makes it easy to blend it but also easy to touch up without ruining your base underneath.
I use my real techniques flat foundation brush for my cream highlighters and these don't need as much blending, more just placing on your face as it goes.
For cream i love the sleek precious metals kit and a cheaper alternative is the MUA conceal and brighten kit consisting of three shades.

Powder highlighters have to be my favourite, they are super easy to apply, easily buildable and feel a lot less 'cakey' on your face which is of course a bonus.
My go to and number one has to be my mac mineralize skin finish in soft and gentle which i use my eco tools to apply it. I also adore the revolution higlighting palette, which contains three different shades, which are insanely pigmented and you really don't need alot. I use my studio brush to apply this. I also love the soap & glory glow all out highlighter which is smilar to the hocus focus liquid highlighter, just slightly pinkier.

For duo's and trio's i've picked out 5 of my favourites. First up the barry M contour kit, i've spoken about this so many times it's a game changer, that i honestly didn't have that high expectations for, but it's amazing! I love the revolution one, the highlight isn't as good but the contour makes up for it and the blusher is an extra bonus. You guys know i have used my sleek contour kit since day one and love it. I now have the mini one and the larger one with a bronzer in too, both staples in my daily routine. I also love the soap and glory bronzer duo, this is fab for a more day to day natural look. I use my revolution, claires and angled contour brush for all of these products.

Lastly, sticks and my cream bronzers. The cream bronzer i have is this bronzing primer from bourjous, a beautiful smelling product but is such a pain to apply as it can go look very orange if applied incorrectly, so requires a lot of patience.
I also love these two revolution sticks, one highlighter and one contour. These apply in a straight line and then i use my buffer brush to blend out, creating a less harsh more natural look.
