Review | Max Factor Foundation & Primer

Today I wanted to chat about two of my favourite Max Factor purchases that I have been trying out for a while now. I'm always keen to try new products, as you know, especially foundations.
I picked up this miracle match blur and nourish foundation and the face finity all day primer.

This primer is a fairly expensive one in terms of how long it lasts. I found this whole bottle didn't actually last me that long. I have repurchased it and really found the actual time this lasts isn't that long which for £10.99 a bottle was a bit annoying.
However, so worth it. This is a primer that mattifys your skin and contains silicones to correct excess oil. Most primers help create a smooth even base in order to extend the wear of your foundation and I really found that is exactly what this one did for me, so happy!
I have used some liquid primers, creams and gels, this is different to them all with a much lighter lotion type texture. It also contains SPF 20 which is super handy, especially as it is getting closer to summer.
The main thing I hate about some primers is how they feel on your skin, this one however doesn't feel sticky, doesn't take ages to sink into your skin, so it doesn't hold me up in the morning and just leaves my skin feeling really soft which is exactly what I want to apply foundation too. Highly recommend.

This was my first max factor product I had tried and I cant even explain how pleased and impressed I was with it. This foundation is all about getting a good match with good coverage as well.
I am defintley a girl that looks for higher coverage in a foundation, however I never set out looking for a 'high coverage' I prefer a medium buildable coverage because I find full coverage foundations look cakey and heavy and that is not what I want.
This foundation seemed perfect to me as it has a "high coverage with a translucent feel that delivers expert shade precision for flawless and healthy looking skin.”
This foundation comes in 9 different shades and is priced at £12.99
It contains particles that allow natural skin highlights to shine through and light reflectors to give a subtle radiance and blur imperfections.
I find this foundation has an incredible smell as well, kind of like digestive biscuits, cant even explain how good it smells tho and that is something so important to me when choosing a foundation.
I'm so impressed, and have since brought other foundations from Max Factor and haven't been disappointed. I use shde 45 warm almond and it is the perfect match, so impressed!
